| What is DIP? |
| DIP is voluntary programme for drug users who support their habit through acquisitive crime known as trigger offending. It's an end-to-end provision of care beginning at arrest through community sentencing, prison, drugs treatment and beyond. It provides access to wrap-around services otherwise not easily obtainable regular procedure.

|
Call the 24/7 line on 0800 107 0032
Assessment at arrest by Arrest Referral worker (client can request by calling 24/7 line)
Magistrates/Crown Court - Request to see court referral/arrest referral worker or ask probation
Contact CARAT if in Prison
Contact probation worker if on probation

| Information Sharing |
|
To provide an effective service and to ensure the client receives all the benefits of volunteering on the Drug Intervention Programme, client information will be shared only with the relevant partners. With the openness of information sharing, the client can be supported in cases where a warrant is issued, a court appearances or on arrest.
