The Havering Drug and Alcohol Action Team works
closely with local agencies, groups and partnerships to implement the National
Drugs Strategy and assist Havering communities in the fight against illegal
drugs.
The Havering DAAT is a multi-agency partnership which operates
as part of the Government's 'Tackling Drugs Changing Lives' strategy. Our
primary focus is on providing a holistic approach to drug prevention and early
intervention. Working with our partner agencies we will provide information,
advice and training on substance misuse.
We also work, through the partnership, to empower communities
regarding substance misuse and community safety. The DAAT is highly aware that
in order to tackle substance misuse it is essential for families and community
groups to be an integral part of the process.
